We always like to be on the lookout for Zonkey news throughout the world, and we found an article yesterday on Digital Spy.
A zebra/donkey (we obviously refer to them just as a Zonkey) crossbreed has been born in a Chinese zoo.
Well Christmas is coming and we are still waiting to hear if we will be able to sponsor Pippi the zonkey.
I’ve amended my letter to Santa accordingly, so now along with world peace, the outlawing of sprouts and a never ending supply of Gummi Bears, I will be asking the bearded old chap for a Zonkey we can call our own.
Naturally, if this happens, news will be posted here…
…so come on Santa, we’ve been good!
News from across the pond!
The good folks at Chestatee Wildlife Preserve have got back to us, and our sponsorship of young Pippi is to be discussed at a board meeting in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks go to Alison Womack from Chestatee, and we will cross our fingers that all goes well with our request.
More on young Pippi soon… (and no Alex, it isn’t an excuse for a ‘business trip’!)
Well a week has passed, and whilst Zonkey Solutions have been working away on a variety of client projects, we still haven’t heard anything back from Chestatee Wildlfe Preserve in Georgia, US of A.
But we like a challenge and are chasing this up, whilst also looking to other continents in our quest to adopt/sponsor a Zonkey!
The hunt is on… We want to bag ourselves a Zonkey!
OK, OK, so we aren’t heading out to shoot one of these fantastic creatures, rather the global hunt to find a Zonkey to adopt is on.
With so few of these fantastic animals on the face of the planet, it isnt as simple as calling the local zoo to adopt a stick insect, but, never ones to be put off by a bit of hard work, we have tracked down an early favourite.
We are waiting to hear back from the good folk at Chestatee, but more updates as soon as we have them…
